Missouri Economic Development office provides financial
packaging assistance which accesses other special local, state and
federal programs. Job Training and labor market information is
accessible to existing or new entrepreneurs.

The Dent County
Industrial Development Authority (IDA) was created to plan
for and promote economic development in Salem and Dent County. The Dent
County Commission appoints the ten members of the authority. Meetings
are held on an "as needed" basis. Board members are: James Coffman,
President, Donald Dodd, Vice President, Wanda Parks,
Secretary-Treasurer, George Barnitz, Sherman Odom, Stewart Carmier,
Laura F. Parker, Joan Sample, and Vernon Stricklin.
