"Gateway to the Ozark Riverways"

Bird Watching
Nature lovers and particularly bird watchers find the area a true heaven for birds of all kinds. State and National Parks, National Forest and Missouri Conservation Areas provide public land with accessibility for bird watching. Within the city limits, there are six different public parks and the Bonebrake Center that provide homes to many birds. To find a specific bird, try this web site: http://www.conservation.state.mo.us/nathis/birds
