Fairs & Festivals The Commons: The Commons, a newly established facility, is in the process of creating one of the finest family recreational facilities anywhere in the U.S. It is located on 70 acres of prime land which fronts onto Highway 72, and is less than 1/4th mile from the city limits. These grounds contain an R. V. Park, Youth Building, arenas and barns for livestock shows as well as grandstands and grounds for other activities. http://www.salemcommons.org.
